We have here a ‘Your Star’ poem postcard, rights reserved by Prince Pub. Co., Lancaster Ave., Buffalo, N. Y.
Your Star
I watch the stars of the evening sky
Grow bright as the shadows fall
And carefully scan them one by one
Till the brightest of them all
Sends sparkling light in the distant blue
And I consecrate that star to you.And I say Dear star with the silver gleam,
Watch faithfully tonight,
Keep in safety’s path the feet
And keep the soul-path white;
Where dangers lurk, when foes are near
Oh Guiding Star, shine bright and clear.

We have here a postcard of the Mackinac Bridge – a night-time view! Although today the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge in Japan takes top honors, the Mackinac Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its completion in 1957.
