The correspondence reads (I think):

County Clerk’s Office, Henry County, Ill.

Cambridge, June 15th 1891.

Yours of 13th 1891 received, The Estates of George Wolf Sr of Jr have never been administered in this County. C K Ladd is a good attorney at Kewanee Ill

Seems as though C C Gamble had tried to contact the wrong county.

Perhaps Mr Welton was feeling a bit saucy and returned the favor (?):  Ms. Gamble’s address of Millwood OH is in Guernsey County, not Knox County, as the postcard is addressed.

The card is postmarked June 16 1891 out of Cambridge IL.
